When It Comes To Moving King Of Prussia
We Don't Horse Around!
King Of Prussia, PA
In 1719, Welsh Quakers William and Janet Rees established a cottage, which became the "The King of Prussia Inn" in 1769.
The tavern was named in honor of Frederick II, King of Prussia and was a particularly important location during colonial times.
However, the construction of US Highway 202 caused the inn to be closed.
It was later relocated and opened to the public.
The community that grew around this inn acquired its name.
The 1960s witnessed a suburban development in King Of Prussia, which is now an unincorporated community in the Upper Merion Township.
Present day, the area is known for the King of Prussia Mall.
With six major department stores and more than 450 stores, boutiques and restaurants, the King of Prussia Mall is the third-largest mall in America.
The attraction’s 2.9 million square feet of retail space welcomes an astounding 22 million visitors a year.
Shoppers can find everything they need (and probably a few things they don’t) at this massive one-stop shopping destination.
