The know founder of Packhorse Moving® devoted his weekends to physical exertion, potential injury, and even lending his pickup truck. He possessed an unparalleled enthusiasm for lifting, hustling, and orchestrating the logistics of these moving endeavors.

 

Meet Ryan Ferrier, the visionary behind Packhorse Moving®, defying conventional wisdom and redefining the moving experience.

Packhorse Moving® launched in 2020 with their first operations in Norristown, PA; the hometown of the companies founder, Ryan Ferrier.

​

The business plan was created when Ryan was on paternity leave with his first born daughter.

To pay homage to past and future generations, Ryan knew he wanted to incorporate his last name into the company.

 

As the name Ferrier means horseshoers, it was clear the business name would be centered around horses.

 

Prior to modern transportation, specifically automobiles, and in this case box trucks, household goods were transported by a packhorse.

 

Thus the name Packhorse Moving® was born to represent the moving brand.
